Publish For OppositionIf the examining attorney raises no objections to registration of your mark (or you overcome all objections), the next step is to approve the mark for publication in the Official Gazette. The Official Gazette is a weekly publication of the USPTO in which the mark is published for opposition. Any party wishing to oppose the mark has 30 days from the publication date to do so. If no opposition is filed, or if the opposition is filed and overcome, the application goes to the next stage of the registration process.
